Andrew Gordon

A graduate of the New England Conservatory and the Juilliard School,  Andrew Gordon has been teaching piano privately since 1976.  He is the principal keyboardist of the Greenwich Symphony and the Greenwich Symphony Chamber Players, organist/choirmaster at Diamond Hill United Methodist Church in Cost Cob, and a University Assistant at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, where he coaches singers.  His 2013-2014 season included conducting the first recording of Seymour Barab’s children’s opera “Little Red Riding Hood”, as well as a performance of Mozart’s Concerto K. 414 in Maryland.  His choral anthem”May the God of Hope” was premiered last season by the Connecticut Chamber Choir, and an anthem, “An Evening Prayer,” is published by Oxford University Press.
